This luxury boutique hotel in Portugal is located within a vast and historic twenty eight acre estate near the beautiful and historic city of Estremoz in the heart of the Alentejo.
A strikingly modern compound strategically designed as a window to the beautiful surroundings, the framework of the tiny, former farmhouse has been integrated into the new construction, in an adaptation that reframes the traditional architectural vernacular with authenticity and bold contemporary style.
Built in varying geometric forms with the dazzling white stucco of the region and rough hewn concrete, the new annex houses four bedrooms with floor to ceiling glass and terraces overlooking the pool. Each is sheltered and private with the modern template softened with colorful tile, textiles and a bespoke contemporary style.
The common spaces also have a sense of warm intimacy, where your hosts will serve breakfast and excellent local snacks and wines with a welcoming hospitality that makes guests feel entirely at home.

Casa Azimute is definitely the best and most baby-friendly B&B we have ever been to! From baby bed to baby bath and nappy changing mattress, everything is available. The quietness of Casa Azimute, the surrounding garden and spectacular views of an extremely well designed house will let you forget about your daily routine and life. Waking up to the sunrise and distant sound of animals and bells will be dearly missed. Danny and Andy are the perfect hosts for an unforgettable stay in the Alentejo region, providing us with everything we needed. If you haven‘t been here yet – book your stay as soon as possible!

Casa Azimute is without a question one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. Danny & Andy are the most welcoming owners, giving the extremely well designed B&B a warm soul with an extremely professional touch. The yummy & healthy breakfast and the warm
sunsets only round up the picture.
The whole house is equipped with stylish & high quality furniture, the beds are super comfortable and you will not get many chances to shower with such a nice view again.
Also, don’t miss the chance of getting a massage to complete one of the most relaxing stays you could have.

The owners, Andy and Danny, have built a stunning and stylish property on an old farm surrounded by land. When we were there the wild flowers were out, and we enjoyed walking through the fields. Our room was beautiful – minimally furnished and everything complemented with local rugs and cushions – and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The view out to Estremoz from the bed was incredible.
Andy and Danny are superb hosts. They strike a great balance between being friendly and chatty, while also keeping a low profile so you are never forced to be sociable! They make absolutely superb breakfasts, and they really seemed to understand the needs of each guest. For example, one morning we went to breakfast and there were a couple of families with young children there. Andy immediately set us up a table in another part of the garden so we could enjoy the peacefulness. We didn’t request it, it just happened, and that is a very special touch.
Thanks to both of you for a great stay, we’ll be back to Alentejo and to Casa Azimute soon.

Perfect country weekend getaway
Hidden away & supremely chic b&b, the lovely Belgian owners have built a new building but also kept the roofless ruins that were abandoned for over 40 years. I had an upstairs, very comfortable room with a patio, minimalist furniture, mosaic tiles and local textiles, a pristine bathtub, & electric blinds for anyone that might want to block out the room’s gorgeous views of Estremoz. Whenever I was outside, I found the vast untamed gardens, completely open horizon, being surrounded by cows, unwieldy wildflowers etc. to be absolutely mesmerizing. Also found the complete absence of city noise here to be wonderful ( a 6 room b&b in a 28 ha property ensures that). Only breakfast is served ( but you do get Andy & Danny’s home made croissants! ) so ate at the neighborhood restaurants (herdade das servas and the very good A Cadeia Quinhentista.)
Service was excellent!
